The effects of AAu1–AAu3 on extracellular proteolytic activity of A. castellanii belonging to T4 genotype. Zymographic assays were performed using gelatin as a substrate to determine the effects of AAu1–AAu3 on extracellular proteases of A. castellanii using 100, 200 and 300 μM concentrations. The results revealed that none of AAu1–AAu3 inhibited A. castellanii proteases when compared with amoeba in RPMI alone. The results are representative of three independent experiments
